Hey, I’m Abbie.
I’m a licensed clinical social worker and the founder of Kindled Space Therapy. I bring an intersectional lens to my work, along with a deep interest in how gender shapes the way we relate to ourselves and others.
I’m drawn to supporting young adults who are curious about identity, navigating societal expectations, or wanting to live in a way that feels more aligned and authentic. My approach is relational, affirming, and rooted in practices that honor the impact of trauma, culture, and lived experience. I’m committed to ongoing training in affirming care, inclusive therapy practices, and culturally responsive approaches—because I believe that who we are as therapists matters just as much as what we know.

My Approach

My approach is relational, collaborative, and grounded in the belief that healing happens in connection—not in isolation. I bring a mix of attachment based therapy and trauma-informed care to my work.
I see therapy as a place to untangle what’s been internalized, examine what your values and goals are, and make space for the next step.
I am trained in evidence-based modalities including cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, and acceptance and commitment therapy. I pull from a range of popular therapeutic interventions. Our work together will be tailored and transparent.
The name Kindled Space came from a desire to create something gentle but alive—a place where something can begin, take shape, and grow. In my work, I often think of therapy as a slow, intentional spark: not a blaze of change all at once, but the steady warmth of insight, connection, and clarity returning to places that have felt shut down or overlooked.
This is a space where you don’t have to perform, prove, or rationalize yourself. Where we can hold complexity—grief and growth, identity and uncertainty, the parts of you that want to emerge and the parts you’ve had to hide. It’s a space for self-trust to grow, where you can reconnect with your own sense of agency and truth.

We'll start with a free consultation to determine your needs and to see if we are a good fit. Once fit is determined, we’ll book an intake session and begin treatment planning. If your goals and needs do not align with my services, we can discuss options for referring out.

I am credentialed with most major insurances including Moda Health. Learn more at Headway. For private pay, a standard session is 170/hour. I also offer limited sliding scale spots based on availability and need.
